INVITATION TO BID  

Bid No. MeECL/CE(T)/O&M/TL/220KV/2010/1

MeECL invites sealed bids from experienced and reputed contractors/firms for maintenance of 220KV D/C line from 220KV Misa substation to 220KV Killing substation, as per the details listed in the table below : -

The scope of work given above is only indicative, details are furnished in the bid documents.

Notes to Bidders:

1. Bid documents can be procured from the office of the undersigned on payment of the cost, in the form of a crossed demand draft pledged in favour of the Chief Accounts Officer, MeECL payable at Shillong.

2. Bid security is to be deposited as prescribed in the bid document clause 16.0, section- INB , Vol. I.

3. The bid shall be received in the office of the Chief Engineer (Transmission), MeECL, Lum Jingshai, Short Round Road, Shillong – 793001 and would be opened on the date & time specified above in the presence of the intending bidders.

4. No bid document shall be sent by post or courier.

5. The successful bidder will be required to furnish contract performance guarantee of 15% (fifteen percent) of the total contract price on award of the contract in accordance with clause 35.0, section- INB , Vol. I, of the bidding documents.
